Dunlop Direzza DZ03G: Setting the Benchmark for Semi-Slick Racing Tires
The Dunlop Direzza DZ03G is a top-performing E-marked semi-slick racing tire, specifically designed for motorsport applications. With its directional tread pattern, the DZ03G offers excellent water dispersion considering its semi-slick nature, ensuring strong performance even in slightly damp conditions.
Developed with race-derived compounds and casing, the Direzza DZ03G delivers superior handling, exceptional directional stability, and the best braking performance. The tire reacts quickly to steering inputs, providing excellent feedback and precision. While it is designed primarily for dry and slightly damp conditions, its balanced handling characteristics ensure that it can still perform safely on a wet track.
The 195/60 R14 size of the Direzza DZ03G is ideal for various motorsport events, including those where an E-mark is required. It has proven to be hugely successful on the circuit and, when warmed up, excels in tarmac rallies or hill-climbs. Additionally, it is listed on the UK MSA’s List 1C and serves as a control tire in various forms of motorsport, including both junior and senior categories.
Road Legal:
Although the Direzza DZ03G complies with ECE-30 regulations, allowing it to be E-marked, it is intended for use on race circuits only. The tire is not suitable for public roads, and its performance on wet surfaces could be compromised due to its average aquaplaning resistance.
Important Notes:
- The Direzza DZ03G is designed exclusively for vehicles intended for racing use, and regulations regarding fuel efficiency and other labeling parameters do not apply.
- We do not recommend using these tires on public roads more than necessary due to their limited wet-weather performance.
Fitting Instructions:
- Do not inflate above 4.0 kgf/cm² / 3.9 bar / 57 PSI during installation.
Storage Instructions:
- Avoid storing the tires in areas that are wet, oily, greasy, or exposed to direct sunlight to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
